📋 Description
- Lead threat modeling and security design discussions with both platform and product teams
- Partner with product engineering to review the security architecture of new product features —
- Collaborate with Platform, Infra, and DevOps teams to build scalable preventative controls in AWS
- Evaluate and uplift security tooling across commercial, cloud-native, and AI-assisted capabilities
- Mentor engineers on how to get real leverage from AI — reviewing AI-generated code and
- Use AI to rapidly prototype automation for signal correlation, alert enrichment, and
🎯 Requirements
- Proven security engineering or infrastructure security delivery in cloud-native AWS environments.
- Deep AWS IAM, STS, cross-account roles, VPC/networking, and KMS; working knowledge of Azure and GCP.
- Strong scripting with Python and/or Go; proficient with Git and Linux; able to read/modify
- Experience directing AI coding/agent tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate
- Experience integrating SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, and CSPM tooling.
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation in AWS; least-privilege review
Nice to Have
- Experience in fast-paced startups with ambiguous ownership.
- Experience building/training AI tooling for security use cases (detection authoring, alert triage
- JS/TS familiarity for DevOps tooling or plugins.
- Hands-on with CNAPP, CSPM, DSPM, KSPM tools.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and auditability considerations.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Base salary range:
$153,000—$220,000 USD
