Senior Aerodynamics and Propulsion Test Engineer

📋 Description

• Plan and execute wind tunnel, propulsion, and aeroacoustic tests at onsite/external facilities
• Build and maintain data acquisition systems and automated test scripts
• Design, build, and maintain custom test fixtures with CAD and rapid prototyping
• Select, install, and calibrate sensors (force/torque, thermocouples, optical, air data)
• Process raw test data to characterize thrust, power, efficiency, acoustics, and thermal performance
• Produce data products and test reports for design reviews and simulation

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years wind tunnel and propulsion testing for electric or hybrid UAS/eVTOL/DE propulsion
• Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or equivalent
• Strong experience with National Instruments DAQ hardware and sensors
• Proficiency with LabVIEW and TCP/IP, CAN bus
• Experience partnering with a multidisciplinary engineering team
