Specialty Pharmacy Manager

📋 Description

• Manage a team of pharmacy liaisons in specialty clinics within hospital settings.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
• Coordinate coverage, improve workflow, and drive clinic growth and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Shields leadership and health system partners on strategic initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for prior authorizations, patient financial assistance, refills
• Maintain strong relationships with clinic leadership and pharmacy teams to ensure partner

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience.
• 5 years in a healthcare or pharmacy environment with direct patient/clinician contact.
• Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License required; National Certification (CPhT) preferred.
• Experience in outpatient/medical clinic settings; retail/hospital experience a plus.
