Revenue Cycle Specialist (Contract)

📋 Description

• Support end-to-end revenue cycle ops from eligibility through AR management in a telehealth setting.
• Interact with payers, provide patient advocacy, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate across clinical, finance, CX, and operations to ensure accurate reimbursement.
• Document interactions in Athena and Zendesk to maintain complete histories.
• Handle patient inquiries, billing disputes, and payment arrangements within SLAs.
• Manage claim holds, denials, and follow-up with payers to support timely submission.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3+ years in medical billing and revenue cycle operations, telehealth preferred.
• Experience managing patient and insurance AR; proficient with Athena.
• Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding and reimbursement methods.
• Remote work experience in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
