Principal AI Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Join the AI Platform Engineering team building infrastructure linking engineers and client
• Own API gateway and routing layer, including failover and incident defense strategies.
• Design orchestration and lifecycle management for AI capabilities and agents to enable reuse.
• Implement RBAC/OIDC access controls and API key lifecycle management across the platform.
• Build caching, cost/latency optimization, and adoption analytics to measure platform usage.
• Contribute to API design, versioning, and production workflows with governance standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in Python or Go with production-level delivery experience (Mid to Principal level).
• Experience running or building API gateways (Kong preferred; Envoy or Apigee accepted).
• Experience with multiple LLM providers and routing/failover strategies.
• Understanding of RBAC/OIDC and API key lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with service-registry patterns (MCP or similar) is a plus.
