Lead Product Manager, Security

📋 Description

• Shaping Wikimedia Foundation’s product security strategy and strengthening security culture.
• Determining and driving priorities for engineers focused on security and privacy, with
• Designing and developing features and interventions that help users stay safe and harder for bad
• Communicating strategically with community members, publicly and privately, about security work.
• Building strong relationships with volunteers and acting as a conduit between the Wikimedia
• Partnering with leaders across departments to shape WMF’s overall information security posture.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional product/software experience, including at least 2 years in a
• Experience driving significant security initiatives in a senior technical or product management
• Significant experience using AI-based tools to perform security analysis and related tasks (e.g.
• Comfort with command-line tools and a strong ability to learn new tools as needed.
