• The Social Media Lead grows a16z crypto’s social channels and engages key communities across crypto
• Adapt and distribute existing content into social posts; create native social content, clips
• Advise broader a16z crypto team and portfolio companies on social strategy and profile-building.
• Remote role (West Coast time) with occasional in-office presence for team offsites and events.

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent communicator across text, multimedia, design, and memes.
• Hands-on experience owning social media for high-visibility or high-growth brands with content
• Proven ability to adapt style/voice across formats/platforms; playful yet professional tone.
• Experience with X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok; familiarity with crypto-native social
• Strong data skills; able to implement analytics tools and derive actionable insights.
• Able to meet multi-threaded/cross-functional deadlines and collaborate with diverse teams.
