📋 Description

• Own data science strategy and roadmap for Mexico and Brazil.
• Remain hands-on, building and shipping models with the team.
• Establish modelling standards, infrastructure, and delivery practices.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small data science team across two markets.
• Partner with credit leadership to translate business objectives into modelling and P&L analysis.
• Bring structure and discipline to how the work runs with clear priorities and delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Led data scientists previously as a manager or tech lead.
• Still a builder who stays close to modelling work.
• Strong applied machine learning and modelling craft.
• Understanding of credit and underwriting; lending/payments experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and pace in high-growth environments.
• Bias toward delivery and ability to ship after exploration.
