Network Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead daily management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise Firewalls, WAFs, and Proxies.
• Design, deploy, and enforce granular zero-trust microsegmentation policies within VMware
• Automate security policy updates by interfacing with infrastructure REST APIs.
• Escalate complex network security incidents and oversee change management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years hands-on with advanced microsegmentation, specifically VMware NSX and/or VSF9.
• API expertise integrating with NSX and VSF9 APIs for automation.
• Fortinet FortiGate API automation as a transferrable skill.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and modern security posture design.
• Professional English (written and spoken).
• Scripting proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
