Backend Engineer – API Integrationen, Connectoren, Worker/Jobs, Mailer Service, QA

📋 Description

• Build and maintain production-ready API integrations and connectors (Box, HubSpot, Microsoft Graph
• Design queue-driven, stateful, replayable workers and background jobs
• Develop a mailer service with PDF attachments, logging, retries, delivery checks, deduplication
• Design schemas and migrations using PostgreSQL or equivalent
• Ensure observability, correlation IDs, and robust failure handling across distributed processes
• QA coverage: contract, integration, and end-to-end testing for critical workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend track record with Python, Node.js, or Go
• Experience building production API integrations with OAuth, webhooks, pagination, rate limits, and
• Relational databases, schema design, migrations
• Testing mindset: contract, integration, unit, and/or E2E tests
• Asynchronous/queue-based systems and background workers
• Reliability engineering: idempotency, retries, observability, failure-mode analysis
