Security Shift Supervisor

📋 Description

• Lead, direct, and motivate evening-shift security officers to ensure adherence to policies, post
• Conduct daily shift briefings, assign patrol routes across exhibits and campus grounds, verify
• Deliver site-specific training on emergency protocols, technology systems, and customer service
• Perform random site checks to ensure patrolling officers are active, properly uniformed, and fully
• Foster a respectful work environment through performance management, coaching, and staff recognition
• Oversee closing routines, access control, and asset protection for a high-profile museum campus

🎯 Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of prior security experience; cultural institution or high-traffic venue preferred
• Valid PERC and driver’s license (where applicable); pass pre-employment drug screen and background
• Excellent English communication skills; proficient with access control tech, visitor software, and
• Physical ability to stand, walk, patrol indoors/outdoors, and lift at least 50 lbs
