Staff Security Engineer - Security Operations

📋 Description

• Senior technical anchor of Pantheon’s security operations, setting long-term detection, response
• Own EU regulatory alignment (GDPR, NIS2) for Pantheon’s Irish/European market.
• Lead SecOps architecture, toolchain, and collaboration with Engineering, Infrastructure, GRC, and
• Hands-on leadership in threat detection, incident response, and automation to mature security
• Mentor engineers, define security standards, and drive security thinking across teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in information security; 7+ years in security operations, detection engineering, incident
• Expertise in enterprise SIEM and SOAR (e.g., Chronicle, Splunk, Elastic SIEM, XSOAR).
• Cloud security experience with AWS and/or GCP; logging pipelines, IAM monitoring, and cloud posture
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND and translating into detection/response procedures.
• Proven incident response leadership with cross-functional war rooms and post-incident improvements.
• Proficient in scripting/automation (Python, Bash) for security engineering.
