Instructional Aide (26-27)

📋 Description

• Work with students in instructional and classroom activities under teacher direction
• Assist with direct academic, functional and/or designed instructional or physical activities
• Tutor students and help with assignments or explain material
• Supervise students in various settings (office, bus, cafeteria, etc.) and communicate progress with
• Support in developing daily living and mobility skills per individual plans (e.g., IEP)
• Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years college coursework or an associate degree or equivalent
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills
• Calm under pressure; able to work with students, families and staff
