Manager, Critical Lift (Starship)

📋 Description

• Oversee day-to-day crane lifting and rigging operations on Starbase.
• Manage technicians and supervisors; drive safety and operational performance.
• Lead development of critical lift plans and manage fleet of crane assets.
• Coordinate cross-functional and upstream partnerships for efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, DOT, and environmental requirements; pursue zero OSHA recordables.
• Build strong team culture, implement cost-saving opportunities, and drive process improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma; 8+ years in heavy lifting operations; leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead lifting and rigging teams; strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of rigging equipment (shackles, straps, slings, rope, hoists).
• NCCCO/NCCER certifications preferred; excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task.
• Excellent computer skills; proficient in Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint.
• Stellar written and verbal communication; ability to perform under high stress and deadlines.
