Senior Firmware and Embedded Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop embedded software for robotic subsystems with hard real-time requirements
• Integrate hardware and software across sensors, actuators, and communication modules
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to deploy software on robotic platforms
• Own embedded software components from concept through testing and deployment
• Ensure safety, reliability, and real-time performance of control systems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years embedded software/firmware for robotics or real-time hardware
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
• Strong proficiency in C and C++, Python for testing/tools
• Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture and hardware-software interfaces
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Experience with EtherNet, EtherCAT, CAN, SPI, UART, or I2C
