- Own Town's native macOS client end-to-end
- Architecture, OS integration, performance, release pipeline
- Work with backend/AI teams to bring Town agent to desktop
- Focus on fast, light, low memory jank-free client
- Handle sensitive data on-device with strong security/privacy
- Collaborate to set craft bar for desktop experience
🎯 Requirements
- Extensive experience building native macOS apps
- Depth in Swift; fluent with AppKit and SwiftUI
- Experience with OS-level APIs, background processes, IPC/XPC
- Knowledge of performance optimization and polish
- Experience shipping a Mac app end-to-end (signing, notarization, updates)
- Ability to work closely with backend/AI teams and own product surface
