Director of Investments

📋 Description

• Lead market coverage for multifamily acquisitions and dispositions across assigned markets.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and execute transactions with AIR and Blackstone leadership.
• Build and manage relationships with brokers, owners, operators, and partners to access
• Coordinate underwriting, due diligence, legal documentation, financing, and transition planning.
• Travel frequently to build relationships, tour assets, and support execution.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a transaction execution team to deliver high-quality work.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business, economics, or related field; advanced degree
• 7–10+ years in multifamily investment, acquisitions, dispositions, or related real estate private
• Experience executing complex real estate transactions: valuation, underwriting, due diligence
• Strong understanding of multifamily markets, capital markets, and transaction structures.
• Established relationships with brokers, owners, capital partners preferred.
• Executive presence with excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
