- Experience as a backend or platform engineer
- Familiarity with using AI tools in software development
- Product-focused approach to platform work; robust, scalable solutions
- Own from design through build, deployment, and operations
- Able to navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions
- Experience operating production distributed systems (reliability, observability, incident response)
