Director, AI Platform Reliability

📋 Description

• Lead architecture, development, and operation of scalable distributed platforms.
• Oversee systems handling hundreds of millions/billions of transactions and terabytes to petabytes
• Drive engineering practices for Java, Kafka, microservices, and cloud-native services.
• Set SLAs/SLOs, availability targets, and performance metrics for critical services and data
• Guide capacity planning, load testing, and latency improvements (p95/p99).
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, SRE, Security, Data, and Infra teams on platform

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering with large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven leadership of engineering managers, architects, and senior technical leaders.
• Deep Java/JVM expertise and experience with microservices and Kafka.
• Strong experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed streaming.
• Experience operating cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Strong observability practices (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, SLOs).
