Sr. Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Pre-sales engineering for Extreme Networks in the Netherlands.
• Lead design of customer solutions and PoC lab activities with criteria for success.
• Participate in customer evaluations, demonstrations, and technical designs.
• Collaborate with account teams; act as trusted advisor beyond sales.
• Travel domestically/internationally as required; support RFI/RFP responses.

🎯 Requirements

• Know the market in The Netherlands; fluent in English; strong presentation skills.
• Proven pre-sales track record in the industry/territory.
• Solid knowledge of fundamental networking: Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/v6 routing, overlay networks
• Experience with cloud technologies, network management/orchestration, SD-WAN, automation and APIs.
• Ability to work on customer projects; build PoCs; set criteria for PoCs and overall solution
• Willingness to travel; ability to lead account teams when needed; strong customer advocacy.
