ML Research Engineer / Scientist

📋 Description

• Design, develop, train, and evaluate ML models for interpreting CT studies at study level
• Research foundation-model approaches for medical imaging (3D/volumetric)
• Develop vision-language models connecting medical images with radiology terminology
• Identify and prioritize multiple urgent findings with safe clinical operating points
• Design independent experiments from hypothesis to training, evaluation, analysis
• Develop custom architectures, training pipelines, loss functions, distributed training

🎯 Requirements

• Strong practical experience with modern ML/deep learning; PyTorch expertise for custom architectures
• Deep understanding of why architectures/objectives/optimizers work
• Ability to formulate hypotheses and design experiments independently
• Rigorous experimentation, evaluation, reproducibility, and validation
• Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed training
• Interest in technically challenging problems with real-world impact
