📋 Description
- Perform scheduled diabetic eye exams (retinal screenings) using company equipment.
- Travel to provider practices; 100% field travel in Birmingham, AL area; travel is paid.
- Coordinate with team, providers, payers, and care teams during non-appointment days.
- Complete training on imaging equipment and procedures; maintain competency with ongoing training.
- Manage daily appointment schedule and travel logistics; mileage reimbursed by the company.
- Build relationships with coworkers, customers, and providers; support quality improvement and
🎯 Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel daily up to 100% to provider practices; no prior eye exam or
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Associate degree or greater in a related field.
- 1–3 years healthcare experience; knowledge of medical terminology, quality measures, billing, or
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams; familiarity with healthcare
- Strong verbal and written communication; detail-oriented and organized; capable of independent work
