📋 Description
- Coordinate end-to-end processes to obtain prescription drug coverage and reimbursement for patients.
- Work with insurance companies, physicians, healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and funding
- Prepare and submit documentation to private insurers and funding programs.
- Conduct financial means testing to identify coverage and patient support.
- Coordinate pharmacy-related steps after coverage is secured for a smooth transition.
- Maintain knowledge of public, private, and federal drug funding and reimbursement mechanisms.
🎯 Requirements
- Post-secondary education or equivalent in business administration, accounting, healthcare
- 1–2 years of customer service or office experience; healthcare/pharma/insurance reimbursement
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other office apps.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution and familiarity with automated warehouse/pharmacy systems
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and financial skills for reimbursement data.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
