Sr Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead a portfolio across the application lifecycle in a polyglot stack
• Work on backend systems and platform-wide distribution and licensing efforts
• Hands-on with Java, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript web/backend tech
• Set direction across projects while contributing code, debugging, and shipping features
• Mentor engineers and foster innovation and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in software engineering for high-scale cloud systems
• Strong Java production experience and read/debug complex Java codebases
• Working proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or similar
• Understanding of concurrency, distributed systems, and service design (gRPC/protobuf)
• Experience with authentication, session management, and AI-integration awareness
• Leadership experience across teams and technical negotiations
