📋 Description
- Own data integration pipelines and models for financial data, enabling reliable, timely reporting.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, billing, and revenue teams to translate pain points into
- Mentor teammates and drive engineering excellence across the org.
- Own initiatives from design through execution with substantial ownership and autonomy.
- Contribute to the Finance Data Strategy and the platform for Instacart's financial data
🎯 Requirements
- 8+ years in Data/Software Engineering focused on building data pipelines (financial data).
- Strong knowledge of cloud data warehouses: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery.
- Proficient with Python, Airflow, Spark, Iceberg, Delta Lake in production.
- Expert data modeling for complex financial data; SQL and dbt expertise.
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines for accounting/billing and data governance concepts.
- Strong cross-functional communication to drive requirements and shared datasets.
