📋 Description
- Cross-functional R&D engineer to design, prototype, test, and manufacture endoscope designs
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Clinical Engineers to develop requirements
- Lead development of new cameras and endoscopes
- Investigate root causes of latent and emerging designs
- Work with Failure Analysis and Manufacturing to resolve field issues
- Mentor less experienced team members
🎯 Requirements
- B.S. in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering or related field with 8+ years; MS+ preferred
- Medical industry experience a strong plus
- Experience with opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical devices a strong plus
- Full product development lifecycle: design, implementation, debug, verification, qualification
- Hands-on engineer; able to set up experiments and use measurement/test equipment
- Travel up to 5% and strong presentation/design review skills
