📋 Description
- Ensure SpaceX design process and design criteria are followed for flight, launch, recovery systems
- Provide peer reviews and approvals of hardware designs during design reviews
- Develop design criteria, requirements, and verification for new systems
- Setup processes for reliable aircraft-like operations of launch vehicles and spacecraft
- Drive vehicle design improvements with hardware teams
- Review vehicle changes to ensure hardware and operations are qualified
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 1+ years in hardware engineering
- Master's degree in engineering (preferred)
- Experience with fabrication, assembly, testing in aerospace context
- Experience with aircraft/launch vehicles/spacecraft
- Experience with at least one FEA package (NASTRAN, ABAQUS, ANSYS)
