Mental Health Technician

📋 Description

• Direct client care in school settings with social-emotional counseling.
• Provide crisis management and de-escalation as needed.
• Data collection and observation to inform student supports.
• Assist with classroom management and structuring when required.
• Collaborate with ESS/classroom multi-disciplinary team on student activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• 2+ years in a mental health setting, preferably with youth (5-18).
• Experience with crisis management and continuum of care for mental health services.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with students and families, and knowledge of community supports.
