Staff Electrical Engineer - Sensor FPGA and PCB (Aggregator)

📋 Description

• Architect electronics for Apollo’s sensor bridge, including FPGA hardware for PCBA design and RTL
• Own end-to-end electrical and FPGA stack: requirements, architecture, schematic capture, layout
• Collaborate with perception team to enable safety and reliable sensor data processing.
• Lead design documentation: block diagrams, schematics, RTL docs, test plans, fab/assembly drawings.
• Drive high-speed, mixed-signal HW design with attention to SI, EMC, ESD, thermal constraints.
• Own lifecycle management and vendor alignment for production scaling and DFM/DFA.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong FPGA hardware design experience for time-sensitive, high-performance apps (image processing
• FPGA device selection and architecture definition; RTL development in VHDL/Verilog.
• High-speed interfaces design (CSI-2, GMSL/SerDes, Ethernet, PCIe).
• Timing closure, clock-domain crossing, and resource/power budgeting in FPGA.
• Experience with FPGA tool flows (Vivado, Quartus, Lattice Radiant) and simulation (ModelSim/Questa).
• Deep understanding of high-speed digital design fundamentals and sensor hardware integration
