Manufacturing Engineer I

📋 Description

• Translate engineering designs into executable manufacturing plans for spacecraft hardware
• Own production planning, sequencing, and shop-floor readiness
• Develop and improve processes, tooling, layouts, and DFx recommendations
• Support hardware builds, integration, and test with technicians
• Balance schedule urgency with quality and configuration control

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial/Aerospace or related field
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering or related high-reliability hardware
• Experience with ERP/MRP, MES, PLM, BOMs, routings, and work instructions
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality systems, configuration management, and nonconformance processes
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and resolve production blockers; cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with tooling, fixtures, and shop-floor layouts; familiarity with avionics/space hardware
