📋 Description
- Provide end-to-end product legal counsel for payroll and AI-enabled products, including
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Payroll, Privacy, Security, and Commercial Legal teams to
- Advise on product terms and contractual provisions, including data/metadata use, training, IP
- Monitor AI, tech, employment, data protection, and payroll regs across jurisdictions and translate
- Support compliance with EU AI Act, UK AI approaches, US federal/state, Canadian AI legislation
- Partner with Privacy and Security on DPIAs, TIAs, incident response, vendor diligence for AI/LLM
🎯 Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with substantial tech product advisory experience across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven product counsel in technology, with HR tech, payroll, PEO, EOR, HRIS experience.
- Ability to advise on complex products at scale across jurisdictions.
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML legal/regulatory frameworks (EU/UK/US/Canada).
- Strong understanding of AI regulation, data protection, employment law, payroll compliance.
- Significant payroll compliance experience, ideally across jurisdictions.
