Software Engineer - AI Developer Tooling Workflows

📋 Description

• Solve challenges with AI tooling infrastructure and state-of-the-art tooling
• Build and enhance AI tooling infra, MCP implementations, and internal AI-enabled CLIs
• Research and develop high-value AI paved paths, including multi-agent AI orchestration
• Keep Canva close to the bleeding edge via industry research and third-party tooling trials
• Troubleshoot complex AI tooling issues across Platform and Product
• Codify and share technical knowledge through documentation and presentations

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with Python and/or Go
• Experience in AI tooling for software engineering (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and developer tooling
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the overall SDLC
• Ability to implement solutions from technical specifications and collaborate with senior engineers
• Strong communication skills and ability to document technical work clearly; eagerness to learn
