📋 Description
- Design and build a distributed data management platform for microscopy and life-science workflows.
- Architect scalable storage, indexing, search, caching, and high-throughput transfer across hybrid
- Create backend APIs, contracts, and schemas for instrument control, image-analysis apps, UIs, and
- Develop reliable data-transfer pipelines between instruments, local systems, and cloud.
- Build high-performance ingestion, streaming, and transformation for large datasets and metadata.
- Ensure data integrity, traceability, versioning, reproducibility, and auditability.
🎯 Requirements
- Master’s degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in software engineering; experience with complex distributed backends/data platforms.
- Strong Python and C# skills.
- Deep DB design, schema evolution, query optimization, transactions, indexing, data security
- Backend APIs with REST and/or gRPC; contract versioning and governance.
- Networking know-how: HTTP/2, gRPC, TCP/IP, latency/throughput trade-offs.
