Accounting Advisory Director

📋 Description

• Lead complex accounting advisory engagements for PE and corporate clients, focus on purchase
• Oversee collection and analysis of transaction data for purchase accounting
• Apply provisions to opening balance sheets and price adjustments
• Lead discussions with target mgmt, attorneys, executives, stakeholders
• Review/oversee work of Senior Associates and Managers
• Advise on post-closing disputes and related advisory matters

🎯 Requirements

• 8–10+ years in audit, financial reporting, accounting advisory
• Strong technical accounting expertise, independently resolve complex matters
• Significant experience with purchase accounting and price adjustments
• Knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 805 and ASC 810; M&A familiarity
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CFA/CFE preferred
• Advanced Excel; detailed financial analysis on complex data
