Security Software Engineer, Anti-Abuse/Trust & Safety (Global)

📋 Description

• Protect scale platform from abuse, fraud, and security threats.
• Collaborate with Trust & Safety to define technical strategies.
• Design systems to identify and prevent malicious activity across the platform.
• Lead code reviews for security-sensitive features.
• Develop data collection and prep for ML models supporting security.
• Coordinate with teams to launch features with security protections.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar MVC backend.
• Strong understanding of full-stack web architectures in production.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Selenium, or RSpec.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, subnetting.
• Experience with security/anti-abuse tools (WAF, Cloudflare, reCAPTCHA).
