Backend Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the backend engineering team and promote engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous
• Mentor engineers and support technical development, career progression, and growth.
• Own and champion backend platform capabilities, including streaming data ingestion, detection
• Guide design, development, testing, deployment, and evolution of production-grade backend systems
• Partner with technical leads and Product Managers to translate objectives into scalable engineering
• Provide technical leadership through software development and release processes, shaping

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams with a track record of mentoring engineers.
• 5+ years developing software or leading teams in microservice architectures and distributed backend
• Strong hands-on background in backend architecture, scalability, reliability, and production-grade
• Strong proficiency in systems-level or backend programming; Rust is strongly preferred, with
• Experience leading work in agile, cross-functional environments with product stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Apache Flink, RabbitMQ, or HashiCorp Vault is an advantage.
