Senior Solutions Architect (EDW Enterprise Data Warehouse Migrations)

📋 Description

• Lead regional migration strategy for large-scale EDW migrations to the Databricks platform in EMEA.
• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to drive adoption and technical go-to-market
• Develop scalable migration processes and detailed technical guides for field teams and partners.
• Build and integrate automated assessment tooling from customer engagements.
• Act as tier-3 escalation for complex migrations across must-win accounts in EMEA.
• Mentor regional Solutions Architects to scale presales migration practice.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, architect, or consulting roles.
• Experience with legacy EDW systems (Teradata, Netezza, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, Exadata).
• Proven migration scope and progression expertise from EDW to Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Hands-on Spark, Python, and SQL in a Lakehouse context.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Public cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
