Senior Geospatial Machine Learning Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy vegetation intelligence products using ML, DL, computer vision, geospatial
• Explore geospatial datasets, improve models, optimize ML solutions, and troubleshoot production
• Maintain and enhance vegetation modeling products for accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
• Lead end-to-end technical projects from planning to delivery and evaluation.
• Develop evaluation tooling and metrics for data-driven decisions on model quality and impact.
• Monitor production models using observability tools and investigate performance issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as ML Engineer/Data Scientist with production ML/DL models.
• Proven experience with computer vision/deep learning models using satellite/aerial imagery.
• Strong Python proficiency and geospatial Python libraries (rasterio, geopandas, shapely, GDAL).
• Understanding geospatial data structures, formats, and workflows.
• Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Experience designing/maintaining data pipelines using Dagster, Airflow, dbt, or equivalents.
