Workday Payroll Consultant

📋 Description

• Lead discovery, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment for Workday Payroll
• Translate complex payroll requirements into scalable, best-practice configurations.
• Collaborate with data conversion, technical, and client teams for accurate implementations.
• Mentor junior consultants and share methodologies and best practices.
• Partner with clients to optimize payroll operations in a remote, professional services setting.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Workday Payroll implementation, consulting, or configurations.
• Workday Payroll certification is required.
• Experience gathering/documenting requirements and translating them into payroll configurations.
• Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of payroll operations, tax rules, deductions, and reporting.
• Experience with major payroll/HCM platforms (Workday, ADP, UKG, Oracle, SAP, Paychex) preferred.
