Sr. Service Technician

📋 Description

• Commission energy storage systems at utility-scale project sites, ensuring they are installed
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to support reliability and availability.
• Support long-term service agreements across energy storage equipment and related systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment with onsite diagnostics and hands-on repair.
• Manage field activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality.
• Travel to regional/project locations across the United States (travel >50%).

🎯 Requirements

• Technical background: Qualified Electrical Technician with 5+ years in a service environment
• Energy/power systems knowledge: Inverters, medium-voltage systems, energy storage applications
• BESS experience: Prior field-service experience with battery energy storage or renewable equipment.
• SCADA and controls: Experience with SCADA; diagnostic/diagnostic support skills.
• Safety certifications: OSHA 30 preferred; OSHA 10 acceptable with 30 obtained soon after joining
• Software & systems: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CMMS helpful.
