Customer Reliability Engineer - Airflow

📋 Description

• Learn and build expertise across Airflow, data engineering, Kubernetes, and cloud engineering.
• Solve challenging Airflow problems for customers; optimize configurations and fix bugs.
• Contribute to open-source Airflow or Astronomer tooling 20% time.
• Work with customers' data engineers, admins, DevOps, and management.
• Provide feedback to shape Airflow project direction and product.
• Maintain 24x7 coverage with a 6-hour pager and weekend on-call rotation.

🎯 Requirements

• Data engineering background
• 4 years Python experience
• 1 year Airflow administration & DAG creation
• Kubernetes/Docker/Containers experience
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong problem-solving and communication
