Experienced Generator Specialist Field Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and outages for turbine generator systems
• Perform advanced generator field and stator inspections using MAGIC, EL-CID, capacitance mapping
• Direct repair and inspection procedures with engineering documentation and digital reporting.
• Identify and communicate potential generator failures and quality issues to customers and technical
• Lead project execution for generator field/stator rewinds, repairs, inspections, and outage
• Provide technical leadership and project management: planning, resources, scheduling, tools, and

🎯 Requirements

• Technical or university degree with relevant experience, or 5+ years field services experience
• Minimum 3 years in oil & gas or power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, or
• Experience with turbine generator equipment, OEMs (Alstom/Siemens) preferred; strong electrical
• Proven ability to support outages independently and seek guidance when needed.
• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and customer-relations skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; able to work non-standard hours and
