Lead Data Management Specialist

📋 Description

• Own AI-Readiness Layer for Coupa’s Data and ensure data assets are fit for enterprise AI use.
• Define AI-readiness metrics: completeness, freshness, accuracy, lineage, consent, licensing
• Extend data catalog to AI asset inventory with AI-ready/AI-restricted classifications.
• Partner with Enterprise Data Management to ensure data quality feeds downstream into AI components.
• Connect metric library to AI consumers with governed lineage.
• Define AI data governance standards, playbooks, and intake/review processes for new use cases.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years related experience, with 5+ years in data product/PM or similar owning data products.
• Experience shipping AI/ML solutions in enterprise settings; stakeholder alignment and post-launch
• Working knowledge of LLM patterns: prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, agents; familiarity with
• Strong grounding in data governance (DAMA-DMBOK/DCAM) and metadata/catalog programs.
• Experience with API governance platforms and gateway strategy; SQL proficiency for data profiling
• Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA and AI regulation (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
