Job Description
📋 Description
- Support new vision product development for Multiport unit
- Concept simulation, evaluation and testing of electro-mechanical subsystems
- Develop prototypes from proof of concept to production testing
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, optics, software, firmware, and test teams
- Source materials and provide technical vendor support
- Transfer designs to Manufacturing and Service with documentation
🎯 Requirements
- Mechanical analysis incl. thermal, stress, fatigue testing
- FEA tools: Ansys, Flo-EFD, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, etc.
- 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred), 2D drawings, GD&T
- Hand tools and prototyping experience
- Design for reliability and manufacturability
- Strong communication and documentation skills
