Staff Software Engineer, Observability

📋 Description

• Role is fully remote with global impact across Reddit users.
• Work on Observability stack with Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, and more.
• Own infrastructure and software for scaling and reliability of monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Collaborate with engineers to build foundational platform for Reddit’s infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of internet-scale software development experience, preferably infra.
• Experience with distributed systems and open-source tools (Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, Vector
• Experience on Kubernetes or similar distributed systems; Kubernetes controller/operator is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and self-starting project mindset.
• Excellent communication for collaboration in a service-oriented team.
