Lead Welder - 2nd Shift

📋 Description

• Lead welding team on a 2nd shift
• Coach, mentor, and train team members and contractors
• Report status and issues to leadership and customers
• Support quality and throughput via de-escalation and policy adherence
• Complete welding assignments for construction and repair of site structural stands
• Coordinate with support groups and ensure proper weld procedures and materials are communicated

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 7+ years of welding experience (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW) or college welding program
• Experience as a combo welder fabricating carbon structure, carbon pipe, and stainless pipe
• Experience leading a team or project
• Knowledge of welding tools, materials, and safety practices
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed; valid driver’s license
