AIT Mechanical Test Engineer

📋 Description

• Own mechanical and environmental test readiness for vibration, shock, mass properties, and fastener
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot vibration test system and control software
• Design or evaluate test fixtures and coordinate fabrication
• Author technically correct, version-controlled test procedures and reports
• Act as the mechanical test point of contact for engineering/production
• Collaborate with structures and mechanical designers to derive test levels

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
• 3–5 years hands-on vibration/shock/environmental test experience
• Direct experience with electrodynamic shakers and test control software
• Strong understanding of structural dynamics and relevant standards (RPUG, MIL-STD-1540/810, NASA
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and translate them into executable test procedures
• Excellent English communication skills
