Senior Software Engineer (Storage Virtualization Team)

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed, fault-tolerant storage systems for large-scale cloud
• Build high-performance block and filesystem storage solutions for demanding workloads.
• Develop virtualization components involving virtio-blk, virtio-fs, QEMU, vhost-user, and
• Improve high-throughput networking between VMs and storage systems using TCP and RoCEv2/RDMA.
• Design and implement replication, consensus, self-healing, and data migration features.
• Analyze and optimize system performance toward sub-millisecond latency and millions of IOPS.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally backend, infrastructure, or
• Strong professional proficiency in C++ for reliable, performance-sensitive software.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Operating system internals knowledge (I/O, memory management, scheduling).
• Experience debugging complex software across multiple technical layers.
• Ability to design and implement reliable, production-quality code.
