📋 Description

• Lead operational activities for MHRA laboratories, ensuring safety, compliance and readiness for
• Monitor performance and anticipate risks affecting efficiency and continuity.
• Coordinate lab rotas and maintain organized, resilient operations.
• Provide cover for infrastructure, safety, facilities, and continuity matters.
• Build relationships with Site Ops, Procurement, IT, and external engineers.
• Lead a small team, coaching and aligning with LGC values.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree-qualified or equivalent senior-level experience in chemistry or related field.
• Operational oversight in a regulated scientific lab; infrastructure, safety, quality systems
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary lab teams and coordinating ops.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 17025 and/or ISO 9001 QMS.
• Experience setting training direction, change, and continuous improvements.
• Strong communicator, able to influence standards and translate priorities into actions.
