Senior FinOps Engineer (Cloud Financial Operations)

📋 Description

• Own cloud cost visibility end to end – tagging, allocation, showback attribution to teams, products
• Drive rate optimisation across the estate: commitment management, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans
• Build and maintain FinOps reporting, dashboards, and tooling for engineering, finance and
• Improve forecasting accuracy and support budgeting with finance partners.
• Identify workload optimisation and waste reduction with engineering teams for right-sizing and
• Define and track cloud efficiency KPIs and embed cost-aware design before spend is committed.

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in a FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or related cloud/tech finance
• Solid understanding of public cloud architecture (prefer AWS) and cost-driven design decisions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud cost management, including tagging governance, allocation, and
• Strong analytical skills to interpret usage data, spot patterns, and recommend actions.
• Experience with FinOps or BI tooling; scripting (Python) for reporting/automation is a plus.
